Stilton. Colston & Bassett Dairy have been making this cheese for over 100 years gathering milk from a 1.5 mile radius of their dairy in the Vale of Belvoir. It’s the only hand ladled Stilton cheese in production and gains its name from The Bell coaching tavern in the nearby  town of Stilton who’s landlord in the 18th century was noted for selling a “very fine blue cheese”. 200g

Montgomery Mature Cheddar.   Made by James Montgomery on his farm with Friesian milk from both evening and morning and matured for up to 24 months  The statesman of the farm, Montgomery’s Mature Cheddar is the epitome of traditional, handmade, unpasteurised Somerset Cheddar, matured for 12 months wrapped in muslin cloth on wooden shelves and has deep, rich nutty flavours. 200g

Brie de Meaux.  First enjoyed by Charlemagne who ordered two batches each year and then King Louis XVI who, it’s said, asked for one last taste before his arrest!  In 1814, at the Congress of Vienna Metternich, it was  proclaimed the best cheese in the world. Since then, it has built a following of fans around the world.  200g
