Rioja – Bodegas Voelos Crianza

This Rioja Crianza is full of delicious complexity and bold fruit aromas. It is made from the Tempranillo grape and comes from a selection of vineyards located in the county of Sonsierra, at the heart of the Rioja PDO region. This wine is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels.

Bodegas Voelos is the personal project of renowned wine maker Carlos San Pedro of Bodegas Pujanza. Carlos has created a new range of wines under the Voelos brand by selecting grapes from parcels of vineyards from Soncierra. He describes the selection of grapes and the project for Voelos wines as ‘a way of doing, a way of looking, a way to get closer to the future thinking about yesterday.’ We are excited to be the only people selling this wine in the UK. 

Summary; Deliciously smooth, fruity, medium bodied and utterly drinkable.
