Crumbly Lancashire

This Crumbly Lancashire cheese is made with haste (not because the cheese makers are in a rush) and is available whilst still young, which gives it an extremely pale complexion and a bright, citrus taste that’s light and fresh on the palate.  Each cheese is produced by hand in open vats. Curds are filled into individual moulds and the maturation is a short 2 – 4 weeks that results in a cheese that is crumbly and moist with a bright white colour.  With its clean, sharp taste, Crumbly Lancashire is a great alternative to feta; ideal for salads and other cold dishes as well as being perfect for providing depth and texture to cooked dishes.
